Meet the wonderful staff at Homestead Veterinary Care. They're caring pet lovers, just like you, and will treat your pet like family.
Alison
French, DVM is a Rhinelander native. She graduated from UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in
1999. After three years of small animal practice in Stoughton, she returned to Rhinelander and the Boyd
Animal Hospital. She purchased Boyd Animal Hospital in 2003. Besides providing high quality medicine to her
patients, she really enjoys performing surgery. She is always up for a challenge and loves it when a beloved
pet benefits from her medical and/or surgical skills. She enjoys spending her spare time with her two
children and the menagerie of critters at her house. Her love for horses is very apparent, as she owns many
of them. She enjoys trail riding, driving her pony, and performing with the Northwoods Equestrian Drill
Team.
Kristy

horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. She attended the University of Wisconsin River Falls where she
obtained her Health and Human Performances degree and then continued her education at Northwestern Health
Sciences University in Bloomington, MN for chiropractic. Working with animals was always something that Dr.
Kristy longed to do and soon after obtaining her chiropractic degree, she continued her education at the
Healing Oasis and Wellness Center in Racine, WI for Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy. Dr. Kristy
received her VSMT certification in May, 2008.
Ginger
Saari, CVT - I have been working as a veterinary technician for the past 20 plus years. I love this
profession because of the always changing and challenging cases, emergencies and surgeries. I have a special
interest in surgeries and anesthesia and I just finishing with my VTS (Veterinary Technician Specialty)
degree in anesthesia. When I'm not working I am a busy Mom of 4 who loves to spend time with family and
friends doing activities like camping, horseback riding, and just enjoying the outdoors.
Nancy
